ActivePILOT Flight School is strategically located on the west side of Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), one of the busiest general aviation airports in the world. Situated in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, KVNY is dedicated to non-commercial air travel and recorded over 220,000 takeoffs and landings in 2016. The airport features two parallel runways, including an 8,000-foot runway equipped with a full instrument landing system and a dedicated 4,000-foot training runway—ideal for flight instruction.

Our flight school operates from the main terminal, offering direct access to the ramp area and general aviation parking. Additionally, we provide state-of-the-art facilities, including a fully equipped pilot shop, study rooms, and a lecture hall designed to support a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.
