STAGE 3: Instrument Rating

FLY ONLY USING REFERENCE TO YOUR INSTRUMENTS

Obtain Instrument Rating To Fly IFR

Adding an instrument rating to your private pilot licenses is crucial for flying with reduced visibility (in clouds or heavy fog). This type of flying is very strict. When flying solely with reference to your instruments, you must adhere to strict rules and procedures. You will learn how to fly: Departure procedures, SIDs, STARs, and instrument approaches.

This rating increases your instrument flying skills and safety as a pilot.
